I’ve got an exciting game project coming up where I’ll be doing sound design and implementation. To get a better understanding of Godot, which is used for the project, I made a small game during a game jam. Event though I mostly followed the Godot documentation (with tweaks of my own) it was a quick way to get comfortable with the game engine and I feel more prepared now! I learned more about blueprints within Unreal Engine. I learned how to implement a lock-on system that transitions the character into a battle stance with 4-way locomotion animation. I also learned how to implement a 3-hit combo system with hit and death reactions. This was a good exercise in learning how to animate with gameplay in mind and the programming logic behind combat animations.https://lnkd.in/ey_XU3iZ
